Crash - Part 2

Ontwaken in een ziekenhuis is niet meteen het leukste wat ik meegemaakt heb. Mijn moeder was over de dolle heen toen ze door had dat mijn ogen open waren. “Where’s Saar?” is het eerste dat uit mijn mond komt. “She’s fine, more than you” zegt mijn moeder waarop ik me wil rechtzetten. Dan realiseer ik me dat dat moeilijk zal gaan want de helft van mijn lichaam is in de gips of verband. Hersenschudding, gebroken ribben, gebroken been en een gekneusde pols dat heb ik er aan over gehouden. De dokter zei ook dat ik zeker nog een paar dagen in het ziekenhuis moet liggen. Niet veel later komt Saar de kamer binnengestuikt. Zij heeft een lichte hersenschudding en haar nek ligt in het gips. Ook mankt ze een beetje omdat ze verkeerd op haar enkel is terechtgekomen. “Thank you for pushing me” lacht ze direct. Knuffelen gaat ook moeilijk maar toch probeer ik het. Mijn moeder laat ons alleen als ze moet gaan werken. Daarna praten we nog een beetje verder. Ineens word er op de deur geklopt. “Come in” zeg ik. “It’s probably the nurse” zegt Saar. “I don’t think we look like a nurse” lacht Liam als hij en de rest de kamer komen binnengelopen. “Hyee” is het enige wat er uit Saar’s en mijn mond komt. “How is it?” vraagt Louis bezorgt. “Well uhm yeah as you can see, not that well” lach ik verlegen. “We kind of felt guilty about everything and that’s why we want to give you this” zegt Niall wanneer hij kaarten geeft. “With these you can meet us at every event that you want” lacht Zayn. “I think you don’t want pictures with us now but anyways we need to go back. We promised our manager to go and see some other kids too. Take care!” zegt Harry. “I think I’m going too” zegt Saar als ze achter de jongens naar buiten loopt. “Louis?” zeg ik nog rap voor ze naar buiten gaan. “Yes, what’s up?” “Was it you that was first with me after the accident or was I just dreaming?” Louis twijfelt eerst even maar zegt: “I think it was a dream of you, when it happened we were escorted back to the car as soon as possible” “Okay, I just needed to check. Bye” Paar minuten later begint de verveling  toe te slaan dus kijk ik wat rond in mijn kamer. Ik ontdek de tv en de afstandsbediening ervan dus zet ik maar de tv op. “And then it’s time for our celebrity news” zegt de tv als het op springt. Ik wil zappen tot als men zegt: “You may know or not, at the one direction signing yesterday happened a car accident. The victims, 2 girls, wanted to cross the street to meet the boys but got caught up in the traffic. They almost got hit by a truck. The girls are now in the hospital. Like it’s coincidence, the boys of One Direction did a hospital visit later today in the same hospital where the 2 girls are. But there’s something remarkable, there are rumours that Louis Tomlinson of One Direction was one of the first to get to the girls for help. The management denies that although there are many girls saying that it was Louis that screamed the girls to watch out and after that ran to them. They even say he was still with one of the girls when the ambulances arrived, not much later he was escorted back to the car. Louis himself doesn’t want to say anything about it. Is this true or is this just something to make Louis a hero? You would probably hear some more of it later this week.”
